My band, The Brenda Freed Band, now has our new CD's available! I know, I know, this is not any news related to Chainsaw. But this is the first time I've posted news that wasn't TCM related and it's my web site. So THERE! Below is a picture of the CD cover.
It features Brenda (pictured) on vocals and guitar, Val Roessling on lead guitar, myself on 12-string electric bass and Merel Bregante on drums. Speaking of Merel, have you ever heard of the 70's group called Loggins and Messina? As in Kenny Loggins? Merel played drums for them for all of their platinum and gold albums in the studio and all of their tours. Merel not only played drums for the CD, he was also the engineer and it was recorded at his studio in Austin, TX called the Cribworks.
The CD contains 10 tracks which can be loosely classified as rock, one semi-country song, one reggae song, one jazz song and the last track is done occapella.
If you'd like to get a copy of this CD, which I hope you do because it's EXCELLENT and I've put every bit of effort musically into this, please contact me at timh@texaschainsawmassacre.net and I'll send you out a copy. I'll take money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks. OH! And my wife has 5 credit mentions in the CD because she did a lot of the artwork and concept! As to my one credit for playing bass...
