I got a call back from William (Bill) Vail. He was VERY nice and we chatted for a little bit about what he's doing these days. He agreed to an interview on a future date so I don't want to post anything just yet about our conversation. But he did thank me for the invitation to lunch. He now lives in California as a set decorator.

Gunnar Hansen sent me an e-mail yesterday afternoon in response to my invitation to lunch at the TCM house on August 7th. He lives in Main so that makes it a little difficult to attend a lunch in Kingsland, TX. (HAHA!). But he too thanked me for the invitation.

Because I'm getting information from the cast members of where everyone is, I plan to install another page on my site for "Where Are They Now?". I'll do that after I've interviewed Allen Danziger, Jim Siedow and Bill Vail. I'm hoping that I'll get a hold of other cast members. But I'll install that page when the interviews are over.

July 27, 1999

I'm trying to arrange several of the original cast members to join me for lunch at the original TCM house in Kingsland, TX. I spoke to Mr. Allen Danziger - who played Jerry, the van driver - this morning and we've scheduled to have lunch on August 7th, 1999. So if anyone will be within the area on that day, we plan to leave from Austin to Kingsland about noon. It takes about an hour to get to Kingsland from Austin. So we'll be there around 1:00 PM. I'm sure that he would like to meet other TCM fans like myself and sign a few autographs. I will update this page if there are more cast members confirmed to go with us.

I found the talent agency that represents Edwin Neal. I called and informed them about going to the house for lunch on Saturday. They said they would relay the message to him. So I'm hoping I'll hear from Mr. Neal about this. In the meantime, I've added the URL to his profile on the DB Talent web site to my list of links. That URL is http://www.dbtalent.com/NEAL.htm.
