GREAT NEWS!
I just received my copy of Exploited Video's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth". I will have a review of the video this evening. So please check back!
I inquired to Texas Monthly about when the interview with Gunnar Hansen and Allen Danziger will appear in their publication. They were interviewed by Joe Bob Briggs several months ago. The response was, and I quote - 'That has not been determined yet'.
In other news - David Gregory is not ignoring the e-mail orders that he's been receiving from my web site and others. He is aware of the lack of response to the orders submitted and said that ALL NTSC VHS orders that have been received and payments made will be shipping out this week.

I spoke to David Gregory, the director of the highly anticipated 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Shocking Truth" about when the customers in the US should be receiving their copy of the documentary. He said that the NTSC VHS copies arrived to them later than expected and have been shipping out since last week. On average, it's taking about a week for them to arrive here in the states. So anyone and everyone who's been waiting like I have for it probably won't have much longer to wait. Probably see them late this week or next week.
Also, I FINALLY got my computer back up and running! So for those of you who are on the e-mail distribution list of my news and updates, you should have gotten one today. Thanks!

As you'll recall in my last update below, I mentioned a person I found on the internet that had Jim Siedow (the actor) as a teacher for his biology class. My good friend Donny Aldridge sent me an e-mail pointing to this page at http://www.dcmb.duke.edu/faculty/siedow.htm. I think this clarifies the fact that the teacher of the class was actually Jim Siedow's son. Thanks Donny!

Today must be Jim Siedow day! I got my pictures back from the developers of myself with Jim Siedow. You can check them out HERE. Also, I found this link to a guy that supposedly had a science class taught by Jim Siedow. He goes on to say that the teacher admitted that he was the very actor from TCM. Speaking of Marilyn, I found this Japanese web site with a great photo of Marilyn. It's at http://www16.cds.ne.jp/~depalma/hooper/index2.html. It must be from a movie. I e-mailed the webmaster asking for more information on the picture. I also asked him if he has an 'English' version of his web site. Because I can't read a *damn thing* on it!

My wife and I will be traveling on vacation and we're going to make a stop to have lunch with Marilyn Burns. Then, we're going to drop by Jim Siedow's place. Since I've been processing 8X10 orders for her, I felt it was about time that we met in person over lunch. Jim Siedow and his wife are not too far away, so I've arranged to see them for a short period of time to say 'Hello'. But also ask him to sign a couple of original posters for me. And you'll bet that I'll have pictures of both of them as well!
Our visit with Marilyn Burns and Jim Siedow was a success. Although Marilyn could not break away for lunch with us, we none the less had a good visit. Unfortunately, both my wife and I's heads were WAY up our you-know-what's and we forgot to get pictures of Marilyn and I! Something that I'm still kicking myself in the butt for! Later, we visited with Jim Siedow and his wife, Ruth. Of course, we got pictures of Jim and I. I'll be sending them in to get developed today so that I can post those pictures later this week. I'll also have more on my visits with both Marilyn and Jim at that time as well.

I have added a new link to my links page. It's The Chainsaw. They're based out of the UK. They were kind enough to put up a link to my site. So I returned the favor. Check them out. They have a great site!
In the past few days, I have had to deal with a few web sites on the Internet stealing pictures that either belong to me or to other people who have submitted pictures to me. Although I've been in contact with the webmasters and the lines of communication are there, it concerns and saddens me that people would spend a few minutes to steal what I have worked for sometimes days to aquire. Not only the time, but the literally hundreds of dollars spent in film and long distance calls made on my part, only to be duplicated on someone else's web site without even a mention of where they got it from. So I must state here that if anyone would like to use an image or other information from my web site, PLEASE contact me with your request and in most cases I'll approve of it as long as there is a credit or link to my site for reference. It's not very much trouble at all to do this. I don't mean to put a damper in the mood of my TCM news, but I hope that other webmasters like myself will go through the steps to put copyright information on their site. Additionally, there is a way through Java to protect people from saving your images to their hard drives. If there's an HTML geek out there that knows how to do this, I would greatly appreciate your input on this. Although I do realize that there are other ways within Windows to copy images no matter what you do with Java. But anything to curb this being done would be appreciated. But most of all, thanks again to all those that regularly visit my site and support it!

I talked to David Gregory of Exploited Video today. He said that the VHS NTSC copies will be available this Monday (06/05/2000). To get your own copy, send him an e-mail at exploited@prima.net. The DVD version should be available in July. Please visit my page about the documentary and other information about the different versions of the video HERE.

David Gregory of Exploited video e-mailed me saying that my copy of the documentary will go out this Monday. I CAN'T WAIT! Also, the DVD master should be completed by tomorrow (Sunday) and then submitted for reproduction on Monday, July 4th.

I got a call today from David Gregory of Exploited Video. I'm going to send him copies of the pictures of us and Gunnar in front of the Kingsland Old Town grill and they'll be submitted to Fangoria magazine. Fangoria is going to do an article on their video. I'll keep updating my news and updates with more info on that as I get it.
