In other news, I got an update from David Greggory of Exploited Video who is producing the new TCM documentary. Check out the news on it HERE.

My computer is still down, so still no e-mail notifications on updates and changes. The trivia will be changed this weekend as well. So it'll give others more time to ponder the question! I'll let people know if they guess the question right.

OK... So I do have a couple more updates before the party weekend. First, I got word from my good friend Rick Balin that 'TCM: A Family Portrait' will soon be released on DVD, along with extra scenes. I do not have an ETA on the DVD. If someone out there knows more about this release, please let me know and I'll post that info.

In other news, I was glad to hear from Marilyn Burns yesterday. She called me to say that my package of sample photos that she has available are on the way. So look at my TCM merchandise page sometime next week for her materials. And by the way, she said that she checked out my web site and really liked it! (;->)

I was running a search in Yahoo! for, what else, TCM when I came across the official web site for the "All American Massacre". This is the project in which Tobe Hooper's son, William is working on with Bill Molesely. It's a great site but still under construction. I'm still checking the site out myself at this time. It also has a sneak preview from the movie! I'm adding this site to my list of links. You can check out the site HERE.

And as I've said before, I won't be sending out the updates and changes distribution e-mail until my home computer is back up. ETA for that to be fixed will be well into next week. Again, sorry for the hassle. If I don't make any more updates until after this weekend, I hope that everyone has a happy and safe holiday weekend!

Well, my computer is still down. But at least I can once again check e-mail on my wife's computer. So if you're going to send me a message, send it to the usual timh@texaschainsawmassacre.net. Sorry for the confusion. But I won't be able to send out my regular e-mail notification on when I update my web site. So please keep checking on a regular basis until I have my own computer back up and going.

One other thing that I'd like to bring to light is another poll that I'm taking on my trivia page. I'm taking a poll of how many people would participate in a newsgroup about our favorite movie. To create this newsgroup, I have to have numbers to state of how many users out there would regularly contribute to this newsgroup. So please check it out and respond to let me know that you would participate in a TCM newsgroup. And with the numbers that I compile, I'll try to get our TCM newsgroup going.

Last night, right after I got done with all of my changes to my site, my computer crashed. It's definitely a hardware problem. So my home e-mail is down for the mean time. Today I was doing some maintenance on my web site and counted all the HTML pages and full-size pictures that make my site. I was very surprised to find out what the totals were! So I'm now keeping a statistic on the main page. Check that out HERE.

I have also directed all orders for Gunnar Hansen's autographs to his PO box address. From now on, you can submit your payment to him directly. There are more details on this as well. Check that out HERE.
