I was pleased to find in my inbox a picture from John Thomas of him, 2 other room mates and their pet dogs posing in front of the Leatherface home on Quick Hill from 1978.  He tells me that this shot was taken within the first month they lived in the house.  You can check out this picture and his interview HERE.

Gunnar Hansen has completed his merchandise page.  Check it out HERE.

I have also added another FAQ to my FAQ page, #23.  I think everyone will be interested in it!.

Updates, updates, updates...

First, Gunnar Hansen has made more progress with his web site.  There is much more info about his appearances this year and he has finally opened his "Merchandise" section.  Check out his site HERE.

Several new additions to the Fan Foto section.  I'll try to list them all:

David Miller - check out the last three entries under his name.
Tim Harden - check out the last one for Warren Skarren
Micheal S. Langlois & Ira "The Butcher" Brown - a new entry
Duane Graves - a new entry

I have also updated the FAQ with a couple of new entries.  They are entries #21 & #22.

And finally, another city is added to the list of where people think "IT" happened.  Check it out HERE for Childress, TX!

I have updated the FAQ section with numbers for each question.  Because of the reoccuring questions I get, I suppose it's easier for me to point to a web page and the question number.  I've also added a minor and well known FAQ to the bottom of the page.

Also, my good friend Rick Balin pointed out to me that Jim Siedow is selling one of his original painting.  The URL to the eBay auction is http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1446578880&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=995584298&indexURL=0&rd=1

According to the seller of this item, it does come with a certificate of authenticity as well as an autographed picture of Jim.

I have opened another new section of my web site called the TCM Calendar of Events.  It's purpose is to keep track of significant dates related to the movie.  Such as yesterday, which in 1973 was the first day of primary shooting.  It will also keep track of some cast and crew's birthdays and other dates.  Check it out HERE.  Also, you can subscribe to an e-mail notification on the dates of significance.  If you would like to sign up for that, simply drop me an e-mail and I'll add you to the list.

John Hintergardt asked Bob Burns about who was responsible for the wardrobe in TCM.  He got a reply from him and I've added that to my FAQ page.

Dane Sears recently made a pilgrimage to all of the TCM locations.  He took TONS of pictures and would like to share them all with us.  So I've posted the links to his pictures in my Fan Foto section.  Check them all out HERE.

A pink rail spindle that was a part of the railing in the upstairs for the Leatherface house will be going up for auction soon on eBay.  It was leftover from when The Antler Inn moved the house from Quick Hill to Kingsland and they removed it for remodeling.  And it appears several times in the movie as well.  Look here in a few days for more info on the auction item number.

I recently aquired over 100 black & white and color pictures of the Leatherface house from The Antler Inn while it was still on Quick Hill.  We are making plans to create a "virtual tour" of the Leatherface house and Quick Hill with these pictures and my audio commentary.  Plans are to create this as a slideshow on CD that will work for any Windows based computer.  At this time, we are looking at making these available through my web site for purchase only.  As I know more and progress is being made, I'll certainly post it here as well.

Finally, another fan story was submitted to me by John W. Porter.  You can read his story HERE.  I have also added another town in which someone believes that the TCM actually happened in.  Check that out HERE.
