My wife and I had a GREAT time meeting Tobe Hooper - again - at a screening of TCM last night. For more info and a picture, go to my Fan Foto section HERE.

My good and very dependable friend, Rick Balin, followed through by sending me some great pictures of the recent TCM cast reunion in Tiffin, OH. You can check out the revamped Reunion page HERE.
Also, I have added a few more links to my links page. Most notably, is the link to Trisomy Film's new feature called Headcheese. They filmed this feature by visiting some TCM film locations, such as Quick Hill and Kingsland. You can check out their preview page HERE.
In other news, I am very pleased to hear that Tobe Hooper will be hosting a screening of TCM here in Austin this Sunday. I have scanned in the advertisement of this that showed up in the new issue of the Austin Chronicle. Speaking of the Austin Chronicle, remember back on October 8 (scroll down) when I took a reporter from the Chronicle, their photographer and Ed Neal and Paul Partain to Kingsland? That article is now appearing in the new issue of the Chronicle. I have both this article and the flier for Sunday's screening with Tobe Hooper in my Fan Foto section under my name. You can jump to the Fan Foto page directly HERE. And I hope to meet some of you at this Sunday's screening!

Looks like the recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre family reunion was a success in Tiffin, OH. Although, there seemed to have been a problem with Marilyn Burns' flight tickets and was unfortunately unable to attend. Many were disappointed. But, a few people have responded to me saying that they'll be sending me some pictures from the event. So stay tuned in a week or so when I'll receive them and post them here in the Fan Foto section.
Also, there is a section of wallpaper from the upstairs of the Leatherface house up for auction. You can visit the eBay auction HERE.

A minor update. I've added more links to my links page. Most were not related to TCM, except for Spencer Perskin's Shiva's Head Band website. His group did the soundtrack to Tobe Hooper's psychedelic film, "Eggshells". And in case you didn't know, Tobe did this film right before TCM. I spoke to Spencer about his experience with Tobe last May at a party at our house, and I'll quote Spencer here, "Tobe came to me and said that if this film [Egshells] didn't make it, that he was going to do a horror movie." So I suggest that you check out Spencer's web site and e-mail him. He has a section on stories from the road. So you need to request him to write up a story about his experience with Tobe Hooper. If you e-mail him, put the e-mail to the attention of Spencer Perskin. And tell him I sent 'ya!

Yesterday, we made our trip to Kingsland to visit the house with a writer and photographer for the Austin Chronicle. We picked up Ed Neal as well and had lunch there. Paul Partain and Janet also dropped by shortly thereafter and we had a great time. According to the Chronicle, the issue that will have the article will appear in the issue on the Thursday before Halloween. Most likely, there will be a picture of the house and perhaps Paul and Ed as well. I have asked that they send me the pictures when they are developed, and I took some as well. So keep looking for those pictures soon.

Several updates...
I have added Antlers and Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the list of cities that people believed the TCM actually happened. You can view that page HERE.
There is another auction on eBay for wood spindles from the staircase of the Leatherface house. You can view that auction HERE.
Micheal Langlois & Ira Brown sent in some GREAT pictures of their completed Leatherface mask in action. Check them out HERE.
Also, be on the lookout for the next issue of the local Austin, TX paper, the Austin Chronicle. I will be traveling with one of their writers and their photographer to Kingsland to the Old Town Grill as they write a short article about TCM, the history and the house this coming Sunday. Allen Danziger, Paul Partain and Ed Neal may be a part of the article as well, I just need to call them. Also, People magazine would like to run an article about Scream Queens and has asked me if Marilyn could tell them where she is and what she is doing nowadays. I'm just waiting on Marilyn to respond back to me or the reporter about it. If she does take part in it, I don't believe it will be in a magazine issue. I believe it will only be posted on their web site at http://www.people.com.
