A very good article appeared in the Williamson County Sun newspaper pertaining to the sister house. Click HERE to go to the sister house page and click on the two links to download two scans of the article. What's interesting, is the fact that the photographer for the newspaper has the same last name as the actress who played "Pam" in the movie. Hmmm...
Also, another original piece of the Leatherface home is up for auction on eBay. You can check that out HERE.

Looks like Paul Partain got his web site going. And it looks GREAT! Go there NOW!!!! http://www.paulpartain.com. There's also a very cool "behind the scenes" photo of the cast of TCM that I haven't seen before.
Interested in owning some previous issues of Fangoria? James Smith has a TON of them and he's willing to let them go. He doesn't want to go through eBay, so here's your chance to own them without all of the competition! You can e-mail him at southernillinoisboy@hotmail.com.
I have posted a short letter I have written in reference to you supporting my web site. The main link for it is on the first page of my site at http://www.texaschainsawmassacre.net. Or, you can go directly to the letter HERE. And thanks in advance for your continued support of my web site!

As you may have noticed, I conducted an interview with Paul Partain who played 'Franklin' in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. That interview is now posted in my Interviews section.
The guys from Something Really Scary have come up with another creation. It's a Leatherface bust, and it looks GREAT! Go to the Fan Foto section under Micheal S. Langlois & Ira "The Butcher" Brown.
Also, there is some updated information about the renovation taking place on the sister house of the Leatherface home. Click HERE to learn more about its status and about the home itself.
Have you heard about a game that's being played around the world called Geocaching? It's a game in which a person leaves a "treasure" of some kind and records the latitude and longitude of it's location and submits the clues of it's location to the web site, http://www.geocaching.com. Then, other people use a GPS device to track down the geocache. Ed Gill, who made a trip from London, England and visited Quick Hill, found a Geocache on Quick Hill in a bottle under a rock. I found the web page in which its clues are posted and the link is now on the first page of my site, http://www.texaschainsawmassacre.net. You can go directly to the Geocache page HERE. The guy who planted the Geocache even took a picture of Old County Rd. 172 going up the hill!
Strange, eh?
And finally, my good friend Sean Wallace has been doing a lot of research on the Internet about any news of an up coming sequel to 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. He has compiled some great information on this topic and I have posted the info in my Hot Topics section.

A few new updates to make mention of.
I have added 3 new sections to my web site. The first is an 'Interviews' section. The original interview with John Thomas, a former real-life occupant of the Leatherface home has been relocated there. But on the way is an exclusive interview with Paul Partain, who played the lovable 'Franklin' in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. His interview is in process at this time. We are doing the interview for my next article in the horror magazine, 'Are You Going?'. Which leads me to my next update.
The second issue of 'Are You Going' is on the shelves. And again, it features my 2nd article with them entitled, 'I Know Where Leatherface Lives'. I have opened a new section of my web site for the cover scans of the magazine and the titles of my articles HERE. Other regular contributing writers for the magazine are Ed Neal and Bill Moseley.
Also, you may remember in my previous news something about Trisomy Films making a feature on Quick Hill and other film locations that appeared in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. The film they made, 'HEADCHEESE', is done and is released to several film festivals. They have a web site of their own, but they really deserve a permanent place on this web site. Go HERE for more information about the film.

More rumors flies about another installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. This time, the web site Creature Corner makes mention that the director Michael Bay is putting together a production company to take on this project. Michael Bay is the director of big budget, commercialized films such as Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Men in Black and many others. Previously, it was reported that Kim Henkel broke news about him and old friend, Tobe Hooper were working on such a project. These stories are not related. It is also rumored that the budget for a TCM remake by Michael Bay will be around 5 million dollars. Hmmm... Is it really that hard to predict that this remake will SUCK?!!? I wish anyone all the luck in the world if they want to remake TCM.
In other news, fellow TCM fan, Paul Slattery made a pilgrimage to Quick Hill this time last year and took some great shots. I especially like the shots of the remains of the Grandparents home. You can check out Paul's photo's on my Fan Foto section.
And finally, the wooden swing from what was known as the 'Leatherface' house is up for sale on eBay. You can check out that auction HERE.

There is a Fango convention this weekend in New York city. Ed Neal will be there along with Christopher Garetano, the editor in chief of 'Are You Going'. They will be promoting the second issue of this magazine. And yours truly, ME, has another article that I have written for the magazine. This second installment is called, "I Know Where Leatherface Lives". It is about - WHAT ELSE?!?! - the filming location of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
If you'd like to read the article, I highly recommend going to the convention and picking up an issue. If you are not in the area, you can contact Christopher directly about getting an issue at his e-mail address, GSevenpsycho@aol.com. You can also read the first article that I wrote for their first issue in the Fan Foto section under my name.
