The TCM reunion in Kingsland was a complete SMASH!!! Although rain was threatening the event, and it did pour down for a little while, it was early in the afternoon and over in a timely manner. Unfortunately, Tobe Hooper cancelled from the event at the last moment. And Paul Partain couldn't make the event as promised. But it was still Marilyn Burns, Allen Danziger, Gunnar Hansen and Ed Neal. Ed provided the tour of the house for the VIP ticket holders. Last year (the first year of this event), Bob Burns did the VIP tour. Talk about a stark contrast in tour guides! I wish I could have done the house tour with Bob last year. Anyway, the VIP people got the chance to spend some leisure time with the cast of TCM before anyone else did and have dinner with the cast in the house. The event was a total hoot because I got to meet more TCM fans that I've only known through e-mail as well as new TCM fan club recruits! Then we took our chairs out to the field in front of an enormous blow-up screen to watch the movie we love oh-so-much while eating some delicious BBQ and drinking our favorite chilled adult beverages. Does it get any better than that? I don't think so!!!
There's some news coming down the pike in regards to another TCM sequel - re, uh, PREQUEL! Read that news HERE and HERE. Jeez, don't make me open yet ANOTHER section on ANOTHER new TCM movie. It looks like that's what I'm going to have to do.
I was VERY PLEASED to receive an e-mail from the new owner of the gas station that was used in the original TCM film. It has been remodeled on the inside and it's now called Bilbo's Texas Landmark. It's open for business!!! The owner also sent me a great pic of the outside with the new sign. Rumor has it, that the original gas pumps that also appeared in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre might be making an appearance on eBay. Keep checking eBay for those.
Michael LeBlanc shares a great pic of Jim Siedow in 1991 at a poster convention, a pic of part of the house on Quick Hill, and a pic of himself at Quick Hill. Go to the Fan Foto section under his name.

The time is getting near for the next Texas Chainsaw Massacre Reunion in Kingsland, TX on August 21st, which is a Saturday. It's hosted by the Rolling Roadshow, and you can check out their link for more info about the event. Click on the link for the "Ultimate Chainsaw Experience". I'll be there, and I'm looking forward to meeting more TCM fans that I've only known through e-mail! Guests at the event include Tobe Hooper, Gunnar Hansen, Marilyn Burns, Paul Partain and Ed Neal. Should be fun! Tell everyone that Tim sent 'ya!
Looks like the All American Massacre page is loading, but the site is under construction. So who knows what's going on with it.
I recently played a gig with Shiva's Head Band. What fun! It always is. If you'll recall, they helped to supply music on Tobe Hooper's short film called Eggshells before he did Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Wish you could have been there if you weren't. But I've been doing some studio recording with Spencer Perskin in the past months for a new Shiva's CD, due to hopefully be released later this year. So stay tuned for that. If you'd like more info about the relations between Spencer and Tobe, go to Spencer's web site, click on "Story Of the Month", then "Stars We Are".
Morgan, once again, submitted some pics of her with some famous TCM cast members at the recent Flashback Weekend in Chicago. Click HERE to go to the Fan Foto section and click on her name to check them out.
