My good friend, Heidi Amantullah, a staff writer for http://www.thehorrorpost.com, conducted an interview with Andrew Bryniarski who plays Leatherface in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003. She submitted a picture of her and Andrew from the interview. Check out the Fan Foto section under her name for the picture. I have also added a link to the web site in my links section, as well as the same link on the links page under the Interviews section. It's also in this section of my Links page that you'll find an interview of me on their web site.
I also recently found out that a new book called, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Companion" is out. This looks to be like an EXTREMELY informative book on everything saw, going back to Tobe Hooper's background, through his film career, all about the subsequent TCM sequels and their legacy. I do remember collaborating with the author, Stefan Jaworzyn, via e-mail a while back. And it's great to see that his work has arrived at fruition. I am credited at the front of the book for research and in the back for a web site link. I think this guy wrote the book that I always wanted to write. And the forward is written by Gunnar Hansen. I HIGHLY recommend this book. Go to Amazon.com and order it NOW!

The "Thomas-Hewitt House" that was the setting for the Leatherface house in the recent TCM remake has been found. My received reliable information of approximately where the house is. Just as I pulled up to the driveway of the house, which must be about 1/4 mile long, I started pulling out my video camera when a car from the house promptly turned their lights on and drove all the way down the driveway towards us and stopped. It was quite obvious to us that they didn't want us around. And there was clearly 2 signs posted at the entrance of the driveway. One for no trespassing, another warning about a big dog. We promptly turned around and drove off. I plan on returning in a few days to introduce myself and see if they would be nice enough for me to ask them some questions and take a few pictures.
For detailed information on exactly where the house is, go to the Remake section.

I hope that everyone has had a wonderful and safe holiday season. I think the saw has had ample downtime. So I think it's time to get it warmed back up!
I have re-enstated the Fan Foto section to what it used to be and added some pics from Kenny Caperton, Scott Eggleston, Joseph Knappenburger & Robbie Sanders.
They guys who created Gunnar Hansen's next feature, Next Victim, have sent me a couple of pics of Gunnar on the set. Go HERE to check those out.
Luis Calvo sent me a link to an article he did on the Screamfest from last year that Ed Neal and Gunnar Hansen attended. Go HERE to check it out.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 remake will be released on DVD this March with added features, commentaries and more. Click HERE to read more about it.
I have posted a reprint of a story that ran in the Houston Chronicle about the passing of Jim Siedow. I miss him already. May he rest in peace.
