A web site gave a very favorable review on our locations booklet.  You can read the review HERE.

The Official Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fan Club is really taking off.  For more info on it, go HERE.

Fangoria magazine, specifically the producers of the recent TCM remake, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, are quoted in Fangoria as saying that Gunnar Hansen asked for $15,000 to $20,000 to make an appearance in the TCM remake as the trucker that picks up Jessica Biel at the end of the movie.  THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE.  Gunnar has posted his response on not only his web site, but also to the Fangoria web site.

I'm sure that by now, you have seen the revamped Fan Foto section.  It's a change that I've been wanting to do for a long time.  I think everyone will enjoy the section better.

Speaking of the Fan Foto section, there are some cool additions to it.  Check out Larry New's section in the memorabilia of Fan Fotos.  Specifically, the original presskits he got for TCM and TCM 3.

Larry also informed me that NECA Toys has just announced that they're going to open a new line of collectable action figures called Cult Classics, which is due out next year.  And one of the figures will be Leatherface from the original 1974 in his dinner attire.

I have a correction to post about the previous news below.  The commentary that David Gregory conducted with Marilyn Burns, Bob Burns, Paul Partain and Allen Danziger is for the movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, not for the Shocking Truth documentary.  And the video company that now owns the documentary is actually MPI Media Group.

Dave Winfrey Jr. made a great page with several pictures of the recent Kingsland TCM reunion and screening.  I have also added this info to the Reunion page.  Click HERE to go directly to Dave's page.  And that's myself and my wife with some friends talking to Gunnar Hansen in the photo taken from the 2nd story of the house.

It looks like the Four Bears Restaurant finally has a web site of their own.  Click HERE to visit it.  I have also added that link to my Links page.

The first quarterly Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fan Club Newsletter is about to be released just in time for Halloween.  If you're not already a member of the fan club, click HERE to enroll and get your copy.

And there's less than 24 hours left on this auction.

I got some word about the release of the long awaited documentary, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth".  Actually, there isn't any breaking news, per say.  But it is possible to get a copy of the documentary by way of buying the UK version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  The documentary is an added bonus of the documentary that accompanies the movie.  It sells for pretty cheap.  But you must be sure that you have a multi-region DVD player to watch it.  For more info on how/where to buy the package, you can go HERE.

On another note about the documentary, a commentary track was done by Marilyn Burns, Bob Burns, Paul Partain and Allen Danziger in November of 2003.  Ironically, it was done right before they heard that Jim Siedow passed away.  I was forwarded a picture of the group with David Gregory, the director of the Shocking Truth doco, who also conducted the audio interview.  The commentary track will appear on the documentary when MTI video decides to set a release date for the documentary.

For more info about the documentary and the pic mentioned above, click HERE.

I had an interesting e-mail from a guy who says that he is a victim of Leatherface but survived.  Go to the Hate Mail section.  And by the way, he's not the first to claim that he was a victim of Leatherface.  ;-)

The quarterly newsletter for the Official Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fan Club is currently in the works and will be mailed out just in time for Halloween.  If you're not already a registered member of the fan club, do so quickly!

I'm looking for someone that can do animated flash presentations for a TCM related web project.  FYI, it's not for this web site.  If you're interested in participating, please send me an e-mail and I'll fill you in on the details.

There are a couple of interesting eBay auctions if you're interested in bidding on them.  They'll be ending in a few hours.  HERE and HERE.

I finally took the time to develop some film from the old "analog" camera and post them to the site.  They're pictures of my wife and I when we hosted a dinner party for Gunnar Hansen, Lou Perryman and Wayne Bell.  Check them out HERE.

Someone is convinced that not only the TCM actually happened, but it happened near Lake Tawakini in Texas.  Wherever that is.

Johnny Hintergardt and Larry New sent in submissions for the Fan Foto page.

There's a couple of eBay auctions that may be of interest to you.  HERE and HERE.

And check out the official Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan club!
