Getting ready for all things Chainsaw to happen next month and in October? I know!!! I can't wait!!! Here's some dates to remember, if you've forgotten. September 26th is the day that both the 2-disc remastered original version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 will be released on DVD. There are added commentaries and new documentaries and a few other surprises to be had. Heck - you have to pick up the original TCSM on DVD just to see me on the Flesh Wounds documentary! Hey - it's my web site, right? ;) Oh - we can't forget the new TCSM installment either, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning opening in theaters October 4th, 2006.
One would think that this is it for us TCSM fans. BUT WAIT!!! "Order now, and you'll get this hansom set of steak knives!!!" Just kidding. The E! Channel is doing a True Hollywood Story on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the phenomenon it has had on the viewing public over the last 32 years. Jeez... has it bee that long? It should be airing on the E! Channel in October of this year.
Want to see John Dugan and Gunnar Hansen at an appearance at the start of September? I thought you would! They'll both be appearing at the Fright Night Film Fest on September 1st - 3rd. Their web site is at www.frightnightfilmfest.com. Tell John and Gunnar that Tim Harden says, "Hello!"
Bill Moseley (Choptop from TCM #2) and R.A. Mihailoff (Leatherface from TCM #3) are going to be in a new movie called Fallen Angels. Other names in the film you may recognize are Michael Dorn, Kane Hodder, Reggie Banister and Christopher Knight.
Gunnar Hansen will be in a new movie called Brew. Click HERE for the teaser.
Edwin Neal has his own web site now. It's www.edwinneal.com. I've added his banner to the links page.
Speaking of the links page, I added a link to Twisted T's Clothing, who makes AWESOME original and licensed t-shirts.
Several years ago, I posted an interview that M.J. Simpson did of David Gregory and Jake Shaw in 2000, the filmmakers behind the documentary "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth". This interview is available online now at www.mjsimpson.co.uk/interviews/gregoryshaw.html. I have added this link on the documentary page HERE.
My good friend Morgan submitted to me a couple of screenshots of Tobe Hooper appearing in Stephen King's film, Sleepwalkers. Click HERE to go to that page.
A person claims that the TCSM actually happened in Bracken County, Kentucky. For a list of all the places people have told me that it happened, go HERE.
Adam with www.bizznitchicuss.com made a wallpaper with the house that was used for the 2003 & 2006 TCM films. Check out the wallpaper HERE.

Stefan Wille submitted some really interesting material. He has a German
VHS version of TCSM. He sent in a scan of the cover art, but also an MP3
audio of the ending credits, which is some bad techno. Visit his section
on the Memorabilia page for more information on this version.
