As you may or may not know, MPI Video is going to re-release the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film on DVD. This time, with an even better print and more extras. There will be 2 different commentary tracks for the movie, which will include Marilyn Burns, Allen Danziger, and the late Paul Partain and Bob Burns. This will be a 2-disc set that will contain 2 documentaries on the film. One will be the very long awaited Shocking Truth, and the other will be a brand new one done by Michael Felsher of Red Shirt Pictures. Michael came to Texas to interview some cast and crew members from the film and also allowed me to take him to the original house the film was made in, which is in Kingsland, TX. There, I did a video tour with him of the house and he did a sit down interview of me. Again, this will all be on the extras of the DVD package due out later this year, most likely to coincide with the theatrical release of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel.
Speaking of the prequel due out later this year, they have released some stills from the movie. You can check those out HERE. BUTT, here's something I noticed. Do you see any difference between the first released still and the 2nd? Just wondering...
