John Dugan
"Grandfather"

John Dugan

I have found the address and phone number of John, but he has yet to respond to me.   The only credits I know belong to John besides TCM is a cameo in TCM4, The Next Generation as a cop and before that on the documentary, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait".  Nor do I know if he is married or has children.  It is reported by Gunnar Hansen that he is not pursuing his acting career at this time.  I have not found any web sites with more information than what I have posted here.

Although no longer giving interviews, and preferring to remain ‘the recluse’, when pressed she responded that she, "has many fans… especially in my family."  She continues to enjoy surprising people she meets with the undeniable truth: She is indeedthe girl on the hook’.

Jim passed away in November of 2003.  He is survived by his wife Ruth, 2 sons, a daughter and several grandchildren.  Although he is probably best known for his character in TCM and TCM2, he has a long list of credits as an actor and theatrical director over the past several decades.  Jim also appears in the documentaries, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth".

William (Bill) Vail
"Kirk"

William (Bill) Vail

Bill (as he refers to himself) moved to the west coast to pursue a successfull career as a set decorator.  His credits as a set decorator includes most Steve Botchko productions such as L.A. Law as well as other features.  (Watch for his name in television show credits!)  He has appeared in a number of off Broadway productions, soaps, commercials and movies such as "Mausoleum".  Look for his credits in the television series, "Jason of Star Command" as well.

Bill also appeared in "Poltergeist" as himself playing the implosion man.

He admitted to me that he has tried for the past several years to break away from any relationship to TCM.  But because of the 25th anniversary of the film, he took a chance at returning my phone call.  We are fortunate enough to have him appear as well in the recent TCM documentary, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Shocking Truth".  He is married and has several children.

Bill has an impressive list of credits on the Internet Movie Database.
